PLANNED GIFTS
Any planned gift made through a donor’s estate will help to ensure that the work of United Way in Chester County continues into the future, and may also provide significant tax advantages to the donor. A planned gift can be made in a variety of ways – bequests, life insurance, trusts, and many other vehicles can be researched.

GIFTS OF STOCK
United Way of Chester County is eligible to receive donations of stock. To ensure proper identification and stewardship of your gift, UWCC asks for name, address, and name of stock as well as the approximate date of transfer. To transfer stock directly to UWCC, please reach out to Christina Wagoner, Vice President of Financial Development, at 610-429-9400 or cwagoner@uwchestercounty.org.
CHARITABLE IRA ROLLOVER
If you are 70 ½ or older, United Way of Chester County is eligible to receive gifts directly from your IRA distribution with significant tax savings for you as a donor. You can give up to $100,000 from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as ours without having to pay income taxes on the money.

DONOR ADVISERS FUNDS
United Way of Chester County is eligible to receive gifts via Donor Advised Fund (DAF) distributions. When you are ready to recommend or direct a gift, simply complete the necessary paperwork with the manager of your Donor Advised Fund, and send us the information.
