Parsons’ appointment to the United Way Worldwide Board is a reflection of his dedication not only to our local community, but also to the broader mission of United Way—to address society’s most pressing challenges through a comprehensive focus on healthy communities, youth opportunity, financial security, and community resiliency.
“United Way Worldwide is on a journey to transform our organization so that it is even more relevant, impactful, and sustainable for our next century of service,” said Angela F. Williams, President and CEO of United Way Worldwide. “Effective governance is key to strengthening our organization.
