United Way of Chester County has partnered with United Way of Pennsylvania and other United Ways from across the state to launch a statewide data project, ALICE, which provides a comprehensive measure of financial hardship in Pennsylvania. ALICE is an acronym for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, and represents households that earn more than the Federal Poverty Level, but less than the basic cost of living in Chester County (the ALICE Threshold).
Please attend this upcoming workshop, where we will share the results from the ALICE report and how it impacts Chester County. We will also share how it impacts the work of our United Way and how you can get involved moving forward.
