MERIDIAN BANK EMPLOYEES SUPPORT UNITED WAY

Meridian Bank VP, and United Way Campaign Chair, Joe Tankle hosted a lunch with UWCC's Toren Peterson and Bob Madonna from Surrey Services, a United Way funded partner, at Meridian's headquarters.

Joe and Toren spoke about the impact of the support that each dollar has to United Way, while Bob spoke in detail about the work of Surrey Services and how United Way funding allows them to accomplish their mission to help older adults live with independence and dignity and continue as engaged members of the community. Many thanks to Meridian Bank, and all of the corporate partners in Chester County that support United Way.

If you would be interested to learn how your company could partner with United Way to impact the community, feel free to reach out to Scott Fremont at United Way of Chester County at sfremont@unitedway.org

UWCC HOSTS NON-PROFIT TRAINING AT BENTLEY SYSTEMS
The United Way of Chester County held a Data Resources training at Bentley Systems in Exton. This free seminar included guidance on how to navigate the wealth of data available to organizations in Chester County, while identifying multiple sources of data that can help strengthen grant applications and program reporting.  We were so happy to see over 60 non-profit agencies turn out to learn about how they can utilize this information to better serve their organization.

Special thanks to Chester County Planning Commission and Chester County Department of Community Development for partnering on this presentation!
