West Chester, Pa. - United Way of Chester County is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Kochka, elected to serve as United Way of Chester County  2014-2015 Campaign Chair. Kochka joined the United Way Board of Directors last year and has committed to a three year term. Senior Vice President for Meridian Bank, Kochka brings nearly thirty years experience in every aspect of financial services. He also has a long tenure in community service holding numerous executive positions in service organizations including West Chester Area YMCA and the Chester County Economic Development Council. He brings enthusiasm and a community minded approach to his service on the United Way Board.  Kochka adds, “I am honored to chair this year’s campaign and am excited to get started and see how much further we can go!”

The United Way of Chester County also welcomes Marybeth DiVincenzo, newest addition to the Board of Directors. DiVincenzo is currently Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Chester County Economic Development Council (CCEDC).  In her role with the CCEDC, she is responsible for the oversight of five of the region’s industry partnerships, grant/contract management which includes approximately $20M in federal, state and local grants, and directing the CCEDC’s marketing efforts. She has over 26 years of professional experience in both the public and private sector having worked in economic development, corporate public/community relations and education. She is a member of the Chester County Workforce Investment Board,  PSU-Great Valley Advisory Board, STEM Academy Advisory Board and the Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry’s Women in Business Committee.

Al Rundle, Director of Colleague Communications at Bentley Systems, continues to lead the United Way of Chester County Board in his sixth year. Bentley was the recent recipient of the United Way of Chester County’s highest accolade, 2013-2014 Sprit of Chester County Award, representing the pinnacle of engagement in all aspects of giving, advocating, and volunteering. Rundle spearheads the UWCC Board of Directors to help develop marketing and communications strategies necessary to build enhanced support for the organization.

The new board members officially began their terms July 1, 2014. United Way of Chester County launched the 2014-2015 campaign with an Awards Ceremony at Penn Oaks Golf Club on August 20, 2014.
