Each of the partners below have been approved to receive funding from United Way for one or more programs that advance United Way’s mission of building better lives and stronger communities in the investment areas of Education, Health, and Financial Independence. Agencies go through a stringent evaluation process to ensure the funded programs meet standards for effectiveness and efficiency.


Children ages 7 to 17 from single-parent families matched with adult volunteers on a one-to-one basis for guidance and friendship.
Character building, citizenship training, personal development program for boys 6-18 years of age. Career exploration opportunities for high school age young people.
Serves clients with physical disabilities, cerebral palsy or similar needs. Programs include Early Intervention, Adult Services, Counseling, and Adaptive Computer Assistance.

An independent non-profit organization committed to training youth leaders, enhancing family relationships, building community collaboration, and encouraging prevention education.
Oscar Lasko YMCA and Childcare Center : Child Care Financial Assistance and Believe & Achieve
Enhances the quality of life of the children of the greater West Chester area and helps deter juvenile delinquency through sports, educational and recreational activities.
Parkesburg Point Youth Center : Youth Development Program
Services are strategically designed to address the physical, academic, emotional and Spiritual needs of the community's most vulnerable youth with programs in health and nutrition, academic enrichment, sports and more.
Phoenixville Area Children's Learning Center : Phoenixville Area Children’s Learning Center
Quality child care program for ages 13 months through 6 for children of working parents or parents who are in an educational or employment training program.
The ARC of Chester County : Education Advocacy and Children’s Early Learning Services
Advocacy and family support, early intervention, recreation, and employment training and placement to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Chester County Hospital, part of Penn Medicine, is dedicated to the health and well-being of people in Chester County and surrounding areas. With a goal of making lives better every day, the hospital includes a 245-bed complex in West Chester and has satellite locations throughout the county.

Downingtown Area Senior Center : Active Older Adults Program
Provides hot lunches Monday-Friday and offers health and educational programs, information/referral services and volunteer opportunities.
Professional counseling to families and individuals, family life education, Exchange Club family center, counseling and case management for people living with AIDS/HIV and their families.
PASC exists to serve, support and enhance the lives of all senior citizens, 60 years of age and older, by providing opportunities in the way of programs and activities designed to promote independence and active, healthy lifestyles.

Positively impacts human lives and communities through comprehensive consumer credit education & counseling, and debt reduction programs, without regard to economic status.
